Naruto Uzumaki
Naruto is a Japanese Manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.
It follows the story of a young boy seeking the recognition from his fellow ninjas with his dream to become the Hokage, leader of his village.
Twelve years before the start of the series, the ninja village of Konoha was attacked by the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox.
The village was only saved from complete destruction by the actions of Konoha's leader, the Fourth Hokage, who sacrificed his life to seal the Nine-Tails into a newborn: Naruto Uzumaki.
Orphaned by the attack, Naruto grew up shunned by most of the villagers, who hated and feared him because of the Nine-Tails trapped within him.
The Naruto series has been adapted into a long running Anime (divided into two parts), and multiple highly praised video games. The sequel "Boruto: The Next Generation" picks up years later, and is still ongoing.
